In a botanical garden. 15 min walk from parking place along easy
but moderately steep path. 270 m altitude.
This botanical garden hosts many of the trees and plants from
norwegian flora in a quite small space. The garden is on a ledge in
the steep cliff above the fjord. The rock wall behind the garden
gives an "oven effect" and it gets quite hot there on nice summer
days. The garden was earlier used for growing fruit trees as an
extra income for the local farms. The path down to the garden was
built for the purpose of transporting fruit by horse.
If you park at Sagedammen (SP) you have easy access to other
attractions along the "Cultural Trail" in connection with the
Sagedammen area. See information at the parking place. Parking
fee.
If you park at the secondary parking place (AP) the walk to the
cache is shorter and easier.
The cache is a small plastic box wrapped in a dark plastic
bag.

Remember to close the entrance gate to the garden to prevent deer
