I have adopted this cache from Ramon (Legalalien30) due to the fact that he is no longer working in the area. I would like to thank him for holding on to this and not archiving it.
Between cleaned up Industri-plex Superfund site and the I93 Interstate.
The site is close to one of the best known Superfund clean-up sites, in Woburn, MA. The Industri-plex and Wells G & H sites contaminated the drinking water supply of this town, that lead to leukemia and child death in this town in the 1980s. The facts around this event were featured in the movie "A Civil Action", with John Travolta playing the lead attorney fighting big industry. There is a wealth of information on-line submitted both by the town, private citizens, Hollywood, EPA, and the (suspected) polluters.
The site of this cache is part of an open wetlands area that is not suspected to be contaminated. There is a small but steep slope to walk down, but further it is within 100 ft of the road. During winter conditions (snow) it may be difficult to reach.
Original cache contents: a number of push-through cards with figures of objects, ideal for young kids to play with.
If you take something from the cache-- don't take the logbook or pencil, and leave something of your own!

**Note** I moved the cache to a new location, north of the original spot. See Sep. 5, 2006 log entry below. There is less poison ivy here. Generally, be careful when looking for the cache: wear long pants and shirt sleeves, mosquito repellant, and try to avoid the underbrush.
