Play Ball II Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

CaliSeaStar: I checked on this cache today, and all of Greer Park is closed through September. I therefore decided to archive the cache and hopefully place a new one when the park reopens in the fall! I was able to retrieve the cache in the meantime.

Geocache Description:

Easy cache right off 101!

This is a reincarnation of our older Play Ball cache. We've moved the hiding spot across the park, so figure this should be a whole new cache hide! The container is a medium size Lock 'n' Lock.

This park has lots of history for us (ChrissySkyking + Blaze). We met for the first time playing softball here in 1995, married in 2000, were back here for softball last week (2003), and thought it would make a great geocache site.

Greer Park, right on the edge of highway 101, has lots of things to do: 4 or 5 softball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, nice playground, bathrooms, etc. Bring a Ball and Play to your heart's content!

Oh, and apparently the park is closed after sundown. So, unless you want to be detained like Kablooey, make sure you're not here after hours. Although... you can reach the cache from the parking lot that's NOT in the park!
