It is possible to walk all around and above the crater of
Sete Cidades!
This tour provides you with magnificent views all around
and inside the crater, over a great part of Sao Miguel and over the
ocean.
There is not too much climbing and it is certainly not
difficult.
In fact the complete tour consists of 3 parts = 3 different
marked hiking trails, that can be linked together to one great
tour!
The length all together is 21 km. and it is a great joy
from beginning to end!
The cachelocation itself also has excellent views and can
be reached either by foot, by mountain bike, by motorcycle or by a
4x4.
Off course one does not need to do the complete tour, but
...... !
