Geocache Description:

A beautiful walk at a popular reactional area.

This cache is placed at a popular recreational reserve / bird sanctuary. You can rent kayaks and windsurfers/sailboats and this is a popular swimming spot for families in the summer.

Approach from either carpark or park in one spot and make it a round trip.

The cache is easiest to access at or near low tide. At high tide, wading, rockhopping or a 1km land detour is required (with a bit of thought) to keep dry feet. Might be the occasional blackberry in the land detour. That kayak could be useful here too.

The original cache contained a pen and note book and an assortment of small toys and other items.
