Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the top of a waterfall in a Public Reserve. After rain the waterfall is very active, in summer it dries up to a trickle.

There are several walking tracks through the reserve which will take you to the waterfall. If you approach from below there is access from a cul-de-sac. Take the footpath up the left bank of the creek, cross the private lane on to a dirt track and continue up stream. Gps coverage becomes very eratic as you approach the waterfall hence a few extra clues. A series of steps takes you up around the side of a waterfall. This section is quite steep and unsuitable for bikes and strollers. At the top of the steps the track branches. One continues uphill the other heads in the direction of the waterfall. The cache is hidden 10 metres from this turnoff. You will find it in a raised position close to a pine tree. Due to GPS coverage being erratic readings have been taken over several visits and averaged. The cache can be reached safely, take care in this area.
