Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series based on the idea of Portkeys from the Harry Potter Books. Portkeys are enchanted objects, often a piece of supposedly worthless junk, which when touched transports a person to a preprogrammed location. (Thanks to Harry Potter Lexicon for definition)

This Portkey, when touched, will transport you to "the land down under" Australia. On the way to the cache, you will pass different types of terrain- large open fields, pasture land, bogs, wetlands, and forest...Australia is known for it's variety also. The cache is filled with items associated with Australia- PLEASE trade accordingly.

I was very saddened to learn of Steve Irwin's death. Myself and my family enjoyed watching his nature shows and learning about various animals. He was so full of life and love for all animals and his family- it showed everytime he was on TV promoting his park, educating us about animals, and enjoying time with his family. When this cache was muggled- I decided to dedicate this new cache to him. It has been placed about 1/10th of a mile from the old site- so I had to archive the old one and start this as a new cache.

The cache is filled with all kinds of animals.

For FTF- is a very special TB to be moved along. It's called Bindi Bob after Steve Irwin's two children. Who ever picks it up...PLEASE put it in the ziplock bag that's in the cache with the TB page inside of it. (I couldn't fit the TB inside the bag and into the cache because it's so full).
