This cache is located at a "former" Star Lake Gold Mine. We had fun
searching for the site of this mine with several local residents
giving us hints/directions as well as an area history book. Parking
suggested at N49.44.371 and 095.14.912 W - do not park on the
TransCanada Hwy.
Ammo container with FTF, log book, and lots of 'goodies'! We're
uncertain as to the original name of this mine - it may be the
Sunbeam or the Moonbeam. If you know, tell us in your log. Enjoy
the hike as well as the area surrounding the cache site.

Looked for it on a chilly afternoon with the 163rd scouts at their winter camp. Seems like winter conditions ( lots of snow) hid this quite well. We'll have to come back when the snow ig gone and look again!

Was so tired by the time we got here. I needed to sit down, but not for long since hubby needed the vehicle. So after finding the cache we headed back to the car which was parked on a road in star lake. We stopped at a gas station to grab a drink and ended out day just after this find. Thanks for the cache!
