Lots of beaver activity off the hiking trail. We enjoyed exploring the area after hiding 'Star Lake Gold' cache. Don't get your feet wet!

Found on a chilly afternoon with the 163rd scouts at their winter camp.
Snow and Ice on the pond made it easy to walk right up to hiding spot!

My years of running through the beaver invaded forests must have trained me well as I navigated the maze without any issues right up to the cache.

Managed to keep dry somehow, and the bugs were not too bad at the hour we arrived... tftc

Managed to keep our feet dry today... unlike our last visit to this area! Rekal had a brilliant observation with this one, "This area has been hit by a very small, brown, furry meteorite". Yet again, we marvel at how you find these places. And then marvel some more at those of us who try to find them! TFTC!
