El Grande Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Eight Foot Llama: This cache had a great run and I'm glad so many enjoyed it. But it had gotten smelly over time and I've gotten less enthusiastic about the cache location. So it's time to let it go.

I'm inspired to place a sequel -- we'll see how it goes. Thanks to all who visited!

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A moderate one-third-mile hike to an unusual container on the Westford/Tyngsboro border. Kid-friendly. Minor bushwhacking.

Park in a dirt parking area on Keyes road, right at the border. There's a small, unmarked trail heading into the woods 500 feet south of here.

Stick to the main trails unto you are very close to the cache. The cache should be fairly easily found, but the GPS reception is very weak in here, so you may wander somewhat. There is no need to enter areas that are difficult to traverse.

Please note: Water may be present on top of the container! Please open the cache slowly, and do your best to avoid dumping any water into the cache when you open it. The top can be pulled straight up and off; no need to turn or twist it.

Large and/or unusual trade items and TBs are encouraged!

PS There is a bonus second logbook inside this cache! Signing it will be a challenge. But if you can do it, you may log 2 finds for this cache. The bonus logbook had a "first-to-sign" prize which has been claimed by g-o-cashers -- nice job!
