A Fall Event In San Rafael.
It has been a year and a half since we had the first Wonders of the
Reef Event.
We have decided to return to the area. The formal Event will
Saturday Oct 28th. There will be a pot luck dinner that evening.
There are no facilities at the camping site. However the area is
some of the most scenic you will ever visit and there are plenty of
caches to be found.
We will be in the area from the 27th till the 30th. If you would
like to join us for some fun hiking and fourwheeling, we would love
the company.
One of the days we will be hiking to the
Million Dollar View Cache This is the second cache we placed in
the Swell four years ago. In those 4 years, the cache has been
found 4 times.
The Seven Wonders of the Reef Series is still there for those
who are interested
Exit I-70 @ N 38 55.527 W 110 25.019. This is close to hiway
marker 147.You need to be headed west bound on I-70. If you are
east bound, there is a place where you can cross over. There is no
formal exit, just a dirt road with a gate. The road is usually
passable by any passenger vehicle. The camp site is about 1/4 mile
North of I-70.
