Go about four tenths of a mile up the paved road from the entrance - go through a large clearing on the right - walk about 15 minutes along a bike-able path: enjoy the solitude.
Claremont is a thriving community with a "former mill town" flavor, nestled in the Connecticut River Valley on the New Hampshire/Vermont border. Although it may not be "rich" in property tax wealth or lakeside homes, it is truly rich in spirit and epitomizes the "Live Free or Die" character of a small New Hampshire town. Take a bike ride in Moody Park, on Maple Avenue, in Claremont, in the Granite State - and enjoy!
This cache is an ammo box - and contains some cool stuff - please take something for your remarkable efforts!
[Note: Sans snow, this is a relatively easy walk (with parking) and an easy find. It's a great geocache for novices and kids and dogs... and don't forget to bring a picnic lunch.]
