Access to this hide is by way of a truck-trail that begins at the north gate of Parking Lot No. 4A of Grossmont College. Toward the end there is a footpath that wends it's way amongst the bushes, leading directly to the hide. Look for a classic little-pile-of-rocks at the base of a large bush. Find a honey squirt-container with log, pencil, and space for very small trade items.
Here's another outpost in the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Cache War of 2006. Look northward across a canyon from this hide and you will see another ridge on which Geocaches "Red Hot View" and "Don't Steal My Heart Shaped Rock" are located. You will also see one of the many trails that lead to these ridges from below.
This location also offers a favorable but unusual view of southwestern Santee and eastern Mission Trails Regional park. Geocachers in the know will spot several far-away MTRP Geocache locations.
