The Two Towers (Canterbury) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Grandalf: I have decided to archive this cache, as one of the two towers is no longer visible from the cache site, due to tree growth on the Cashmere ridge.
The cache had held the true coordinates for my other cache "Hidden Habitat", so those coordinates are now shown in the Hidden Habitat listing, as an standard traditional.

Geocache Description:

These coordinates are dummy - but they are on the road to a suitable carpark, and you can get two caches at once - with a bit of a walk!!

To find this cache, you will first need to do a bit of surveying and trigonometry. This cache is in Bowenvale Valley, and from the cache position, you can see two skyline towers. They are shown in the photos below, which were taken from the cache site.
Tower1 is obviously the TV mast on Sugarloaf, and the coordinates you will need to use (call them T1) are those of the first WP of the cache "Sunset Siesta" GCRF0T (not the TV tower itself). That saves you actually going there!!
Tower2 is a communications tower in Cashmere, and we will call its coordinates T2.
The straight lines from the cache to T1 and T2 enclose an angle of 96.6 degrees, and T1 is 1599m from the cache.
The cache is a 400ml camo snaplock with logbook, pencil, sharpener, and a few trading goodies.
Please Note:
This cachebox also contains the final coordinates for the cache "Hidden Habitat" GCYRA2
Please do not remove the note showing the coordinates - just note them down and go for the walk.
