From this area of Rt. 1 you will see the most fantastic view of Mars Hill Mountain. Many of us drive this route often, I do almost daily. But do you really SEE the mountain? (Lately we are seeing the construction of the Wind Farm)Do you SEE the different faces of the mountain. Each and every day the mountain looks different.
Be it Fall, Winter,Spring or Summer the seasonal faces change of course.But have you ever noticed how it looks in the sun or how the clouds form around the top? How it sparkles on a cold winter morning, or in the fog it totally vanishes? It is never the same, each and every day the mountain wears a different face.
You will have to park along the road but it should be an easy find. Just don't forget to check out the view.
