In order to find this cache, solve the sudoku puzzle below, and
insert the appropriate figures into the coordinates below:
Cache location at :
N 52° (A8)(B8).(C2)(D9)(E6)
W002° (C5)(G9).(F4)(H1)(I3)
Examples: A1 = 4, D5 = 8, G2 = 3 etc.
If you are new to Sudoku puzzles, you need to fill in the grid
so that every column, every row and every 3x3 box contain the
digits 1 to 9.
This cache is a small rectangular Tupperware container
containing a logbook and pencil and a few swaps. Inside the cover
of the logbook you will find the puzzle that you need to solve for
the next cache in the series, the
Colemere Cache. You should copy it down into the blank grid
below.
The cache is a five to ten minute walk from the recommended
parking, along a good stretch of tow path which should be
wheelchair and buggy accessible (although there is a bit of an
incline initially). This cache has had to be relocated due to a
muggling (April 2009) please make sure that it is well hidden when
you leave.
I recommend that you use a pencil when solving these puzzles or
make copies of them to avoid getting half way through, realising
that you’ve made a mistake and not knowing where you started
from.
The Meres were formed at the end of the last iceage some 12000
years ago and more details can be found at Link
