Tätä kätköä on suositeltavaa lähestyä joko Kolinpolku tai
Herajärven kierros -vaellusreiteiltä käsin. Kätkön vaikeusaste on
kuitenkin arvioitu kuvaukseen lähimmältä parkkipaikalta. Sekä
Kolinpolku että Herajärven kierros ovat Pohjois-Karjalan
suosituimpia vaellusreittejä ja tarjoavat erittäin kauniita

edestakaista kätkönhakumatkaa kertyy noin viisi kilometriä. Polku
on hyvin merkitty ja eksymisvaara on hyvin pieni. Huomaa kuitenkin,
että polku ei ole kovin helppokulkuinen.
Ryläyksen näköalapaikalta näet komeat maisemat Kolin
kansallispuistoon sekä Pohjois-Karjalaiseen vaaramaisemaan. Ryläys
on kiviputous, joka jatkuu kivivirtana n. 50 m pystysuoraa
rinnettä. Kätkö on piilotettu Ryläyksen kiviputouksen alkulähteiltä
avautuvalle näköalapaikalle. Kätkön löytääksesi sinun ei tarvitse
mennä vaarallisen lähelle putouksen reunaa eikä penkoa jokaista
kallionkoloa. Varo kuitenkin liukkaita kiviä ja kätkön
lähimaastossa olevia kallionhalkeamia. Kätkö on suojautunut
auringolta kuusen oksien alle.

We recommend to approach the cache from Kolinpolku or Herajärven
kierros hiking trails. However, notice that the terrain rating of
the cache is measured from the nearest parking place. Both of the
trails are amongst the most popular hiking trails in North Karelia
region. The trails offer beautiful sceneries and unique experiences

If you decide to approach the cache from the nearest parking place
the walking distance to cache and back is about 5 kilometers. The
path is marked very well and the risk of getting lost is very
small. Notice that the path is not very easy to walk.
There is a gorgeous view from the Ryläys. Ryläys is one of the
highest spots in it's surroundings. On the side of Ryläys hill
there is a stone fall with a very beautiful scenery to Koli
national park, surrounding regions and lake Herajärvi. The cache is
hidden on top of the stone fall. You don't have to go to dangerous
places in order to seek this cache and there is no need to examine
every possible crack in cliffs. However, be careful with slippery
cliffs and rocks. There are also quite deep and dangerous cracks
near by the cache area. The cache is protected from the sun and it
is placed under a spruce.
