This is a 1 of a series of 8 caches that the University of Maine at Presque Isle has placed.
The Marguerite Hill Wieden Botanical Station is an 11-acre land donation from the Joseph and Vincenza Amodeo family. The tract is an excellent example of the secondary succession of a former potato field to a forest. The station is used for botanical studies by faculty and students at UM-Presque Isle.
