Mange har sikkert hørt om dette kryds – og mange har
holdt i kø her i morgen- og aftenmyldretiden. Men hvor mange
er klar over, at der her findes et grønt område med en
lille sø ?
Krydset har fået sit navn efter Toms Fabrikker. Ifølge
Toms historie er navnet ”Toms” dannet af forbogstaverne
i de to grundlæggere Trojel og Meyers navne. Oprindelig hed
firmaet således Tom, men S’et blev efter sigende
tilføjet, da det ikke var passende at have ordet
”Tom” stående på datidens
slikautomater.

Many people are familiar with this cross-road, specially in the
morning and evening rush hour. But only a few have actually seen
the beautiful nature that surrounds this area. The name of this
cross-road has it's name from the two founders of Toms Chocolate
Factory: Trojel and Meyer.
