Tribute to the heroes

På denne Cache skal du vurdere, hvor vigtigt dit liv er !? For Når Livets slutning kommer fra oven skal man være sikker på at ens sag er den rigtige. Og nyd så lige omgivelserne

Der blev i året 1943 skudt et fly ned i nærheden af Horsens, 5 mand omkom og 2 overlevede ved at springe ud i faldskærm og gemme sig i skov og krat (kommer du igennem). Flyet var af typen sterling 4. motors fra d. 218 eskadron fra UK. Denne var færdig med udlægning af miner i Østersøen og på vej hjem. Da den pludseligt blev overfaldet af tyske jagere, der endte med at skyde den ned over DK. Kilde for historien er Hr. Ole Kraul der den gang var en dreng og boede i Horsens med udsigt mod vest og så styrtet.

When you are searching for this cache, you should think about what life is worth living or dying for. Especially when it comes from the heaven above.

In 1943 5 flyers were killed in a crash with their plane, but 2 out of 7 were saved jumping out in parachutes. Those 2 guys were hiding in the forest you will pass through. The plane was a Sterling 4 propeller from the 218 squadron and they had laid mines out in the Easter Sea when they were attacked by German fighters. Mr. Ole Kraul looked out the window as a child and witnessed the events.

You can park at post number one. And walk the 3,11 miles ore you can drive by car. But please enjoy the nature, the trip will take about 2 hours walking.
