This is a probe droid (#5) from the Imperial StarDestroyer Probe Droid Deployment.
As is the case when dealing with probe droids, one occasionally malfunctions and goes off course! Probe #5, while on a scouting mission for the young Luke Skywalker, had wires in his circuitry get crossed. Disoriented, he found himself headed for the “third rock from Sun”. On planet Earth, to disguise his identity he took on the appearance of mild mannered gas station attendent Floyd. (Yes, that’s Floyd the Droid!)
One night, after eight grueling hours of earthly labor, Floyd wandered over to a local pub and eatery. It just so happened that something called a “Meet and Greet” was happening. Floyd met some very familiar Star Wars Guys, a bunch in TyeDye attire, something called a Cheesehead, some Boxers and an earthling named Roger. While enjoying their company, Floyd had a few too many of the local brew and wandered disoriented out into the night. He found a very nice path, but unfortunately stumbled off that too!
Would you please help find Floyd and get him back on his scouting mission for Luke?
