How Geocaching Works
The Mission Coffee House - Another local and recently lost Music Venue with a great history of hosting local regional and national acts. This place was Central Wisconsin's Version of Madison's O'Kays Corral.
For any of you cachers who saw a show at the Mission, especially you young punks, please share your stories and any pictures you can dig up.
I have so many great memories of the Mission! I remember going to shows when moshing just got started and bouncing around with heavy moshers and almost getting my teeth knocked out. Hard to believe that was almost 20 years ago!
This series of caches are meant to conjure music memories from the past. I have seeded each micro with a guitar pick (or some other small memento) to remember the place by. As the collection of mementos grows, so will the cache container. Please leave your mementos and stories behind and take only the memories with you. These are not trade-up or trade-down caches.

Update: 7.15.07 The Mission has been open again for some time under new management. There was a dispute about the ownership of the establishment's name when it was reopened, but apparently, this has been resolved. If anybody has the skinny on this, feel free to fill me in. For reference, the former Mission Coffee House is now called the Afterdark.
Update: 9.12.12 Haven't been to town for some time, but I was forward thinking the last time I replaced this one and left a backup nearby. Cords have changed just a tad.
