Well, we stick our fingers in the ground,
heave and turn the world around
Smoke is blacking out the sun
At night I pray and clean my gun
The cracked bell rings as the ghost bird sings
and the gods go begging here
So just open fire when you hit the shore
All is fair in love and war
Hoist that Rag
This is the second cache in the Real Gone Series (and it's taken some effort to get active - thanks 6bricksinachute and dinktank11). It is a quick 2-part multi. The first cache is a nano with coordinates to the location of the 2nd cache, a micro. When you get to the first cache you will find yourself in a rather wide open spot so try your best to be discreet and please be careful when retrieveing and placing the cache, dropping it would not be good. When you get to the location of the final cache, the exact opposite is true and you can exclaim your find at the top of [with] your lungs. In fact, that could be fun. Cache is located on Grand Chute trail system (kinda).
This cache is dedicated to the men and women of our Armed Forces in harms way in many theaters of current conflict. It serves as a metaphor for the distinction between the moral high ground of spreading democracy, far from the theater of war, and the low ground of being actively engaged in it. It's a clear and direct path to the one, it's not as clear a path to the other, particularily when you're in the trenches fighting your way through the fog. War is dirty, ugly and full of gray areas much like the final location of this cache. I know, I speak from the experience of having been in the trenches myself.
I doff my hat to you all.
