Breakfast in the SW Burbs 3 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Greenback: Thank you to everyone who hid caches as well as all of those who came out for breakfast. I really enjoy this festive little gathering in the middle of winter. It's enough to warm your toes and make caching in the winter freeze that we call home a great pleasure.

Thanks, hope to see you all again in January 2008.

Phone (630)771-1777 (Jason mgr.)

When:
Saturday January 20th 2007 from 8am to 10am

Directions for the GPS challenged:
Take Route 55 to Route 53, head north to Lily Cache Lane where you'll turn west and then turn in at the first street. This isn't really the best way but you'll see the Golden Corral Restaurant after you make this turn or before if you keep your eyes open:-)

Will there be any special event caches?:
Last year I asked a few local cachers to help out by hiding caches, and that worked out splendidly. This year I've already received an offer from Fed to help and I would ask that anyone who wishes to help hide caches please do join in the fun.

If you would like to hide caches in conjunction with this event your efforts are truly appreciated. Please ask the reviewer to publish the cache Thursday 01/18/2007 so that folks can download the waypoints prior to the event. This will eliminate the need for laptops and loading data. Also be sure to email me with the name and GC number of the new cache and I'll add that along with your name to this event page.

Travel Bugs:
Travel bugs by design are a risk, you buy the tags and send them off to fend for themselves and you trust other geocachers to care for them. You are welcome to bring travel bugs to this event but no special measures will be taken, it's no different than when you drop a bug in any ammo can, what happens to it next is unknown. That is all part of the adventure of travel bugs.

Will there be snow?:
If you would like to help insure there will be snow and have a little fun along the way, Click here or visit http://snowflakes.lookandfeel.com/ and make your own snow flakes. Feel free to share your snow flake in your log.
