This is located just 20 feet off of the Liberty Spring trail. The altitude is 3420ft, and the walk is about 1.8 miles up. The trail is always wet so bring boots or water wings.

Parking will be at the trailhead parking area just north of flume center parking. Take the pemi trail about .3 miles north east from the parking area and then turn left at the paved bike trail. Just after the second bridge youll see a white sign on the right side of the bike path. There you are, my 12year old girl made it too the top of Mt. Liberty and back so its not completely out of the question for kids. It is a very grueling hike up and down with knee jarring rocks so be careful and good luck. If you get this far its worth the extra very hard hike to get to the top.
