April 10, 2009 by junglehair (4703 found) Since the lake was still frozen, we decided to hike across to get this one from the cabin we rented for the Easter weekend. I was here a couple years ago, but couldn't figure out how you were supposed to get to the cache without having to wade through the swamp. Not sure the approach this time was that much easier as we had to climb up a rather steep, icy hill, but we made it there and found the cache. Then we found a much gentler/easier way back down. Glad to have this one off my list.

November 25, 2008 by vianun (155 found) OHMIC is right, long hair in the bushes, is no fun, but... I still always like the hunt for caches. I do have to give the credit to OHMIC for finding this one. I was busy enjoying the view and fixing the camera.

November 25, 2008 by OHMIC (5311 found) It's hard to believe TurdleEggs and I missed that one this winter. I guess the snow cover didn't help. We must have been tired of digging after we cleared a 30 meters radius from the cache Today it was an nice and rewarding find in the company of Vianun. Great view of the partly frozen lake. We took the marshy way in but since it was frozen it only made the hike shorter (except if you have long hair... ) TNLNSL, TFTC

August 9, 2008 by Tromelin (3076 found) Not having crossed any swamps today, I decided to return to the Outer Limits. I should have remembered how I came the first time but instead decided a more direct mild swampy approach. Found dry way back. FotLC 6.

July 16, 2008 by TurdleEggs (2115 found) The direct route is not the easy route in the summer! I hiked about 2.2 km (return) in 53 minutes and managed to keep my feet dry I ended up taking many of the same trails OHMIC and I had in the winter – some forwards, some backwards. I think I took something called the Wiggly Bunny before getting on the Outer Limits bike course. My cell phone kept me company on the hike. It kept telling me of new text messages and brought me news of caching in Manitoba. The sky was black and the humidly high but it didn’t rain. When I got to the cache I hung my pack at ground zero. I began methodically searching the rocks and moved farther and farther out. I searched for about 10 minutes to the sound of thunder and loons and a spectacular view of the gray lake. Eventually I returned to my pack – and spotted the cache peaking out from under a rock not 2 m away! OHMIC and I had dug right over it. The cache and all its treasures are in great shape. It looks like it just came off the shelf I returned to the car and had barely got inside before the sky opened up! All in all, I call that a very good cache
