Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Fox River Parkway Park - South. Located on the scenic Fox River.

The City of Waukesha Park hours are sunrise until 10:00 PM however due to the location of this cache I would suggest that you do not pursue it after dark.

I have placed this in honor of my 500th find at a nearby cache: " Down By The River " by The Tapps.

Parking is available at N 42° 58.659, W 088° 15.834.

There is a paved path you can take that goes under the bridge. Once under the bridge take the mowed path that follows the river to the Southwest.
As you near the cache you will have to decide when to leave the path.

Take care once venturing off of the path. There is grass covered logs and holes. There are several Deer/animal paths you can take that will get you near the cache. There may be thorns and branches to negotiate depending on the route you choose to take.

Take a moment and observe the area near the cache. There has been recent Beaver activity in this area as demonstrated by the felled trees.

You are hunting for a small camoed lock and lock container that contains a Logbook and Pen. The cache can hold small tradeables, TB's and coins. Please bring your own pen/pencil just in case and please replace exactly as you found it.

The cache is not hidden under any cover and is about 2' off of the ground. This is purposely not a difficult hide. It is meant so you can enjoy the surroundings.
Please tread lightly and keep the area pristine for others to enjoy.

As always during the summer months Skeeters and Ticks are abundant, so plan accordingly.

I have permission from the City of Waukesha Parks and Rec. for placement of this cache.

While in the area be sure to visit the other caches in the Park and nearby.
