This cache is at the intake for the Waitaki plains irrigation scheme, you can drive right around the pond, but if you go right there is a 100m long concrete ford to cross most times it wont be the deep it is the pond over flow.
The cache is a 1L snap lock container hidden at ground level, there are a few swaps in there.
