The significance of this cache is that it lies halfway between the Equator and the North Pole.
The cache is a one gallon plastic pickle jar with a red lid. It is located approximately one hundred yards ENE of the big tree at the North end of the picnic area. A little bushwhacking is required, but it is not difficult. Just north of the picnic area is a marker for 45 degrees north latitude. Take a photo for a nice souvenier of your visit to the area.
