This is a 3 part cache. The terrain is hilly and all gravel roads.
***5-19-05***
We have moved the first waypoint. We were way too aggressive with
our first cache. There was too much backtracking. The new location
will make it easier.
*************
This is our first cache. It is called Rebel's Treat after our dog
Rebel, who passed on last December. Years ago our son and I went on
a hike and cooked hot dogs over a fire. When my hot dog was done, I
turned to get a roll and Rebel had gobbled it up. The cache is near
where this happened.
The best way to get to the cache is to mountain bike but walking is
an option. In the winter snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are
options. The cache should be available in all seasons. If you have
a trail map of the State Forest it will be easier
The cache contains patriotic items due to it being Memorial Day.
Parking is available at N 42 30.885, W 071 48. 769. Part 1 and part
2 are Micros and are found near the same element. Good Luck! If you
have time have a picnic at Rocky Pond.
To make this trip worthwhile, Keys to the Forest and Wolf Cache are
within 200 yard of your hike.

November 15, 2009 by Nordymogul (1304 found) Out for another cache run in LSF with Bushwhack Bob and the Waldos. Despite yesterday's rain it was another productive and fun visit to this spectacular area. Finally was able to finish this one, finding the two WPs on two previous visits.

October 27, 2009 by koneko (7977 found) Found the first and second stages today, but the final was just too far to go after with the waning sun, and the oncoming rain.another day, I hope!

September 26, 2009 by offtheclock (1114 found) Our first attemp at the LSF, which is only a few miles from our house. Nice trails, nice walking. 4.6 miles today, with one 600 foot bushwack that started nice, and ended very very tough. Found a few, left a bunch. Looks like this will take us a while to complete. Found waypoint 1 and then plotted it only to tell us to hike where we just came from. We did the outside loop first. The point is now marked and we will come back to complete it - can't wait... Thanks.

August 26, 2009 by mi50ke (443 found) Well placed and thought out cache. Clues really help. Recommendation: If you are multi caching in LSF find this one first. It could save you time especially if you are walking.
