This cache is dedicated to long haul truckers.
They drive endless highways to make sure that everything we need or want is waiting for us at our local stores. They have to put up with road work, boring miles across featureless land, scary miles over icy passes, and small cars whose drivers do not understand the concept of merging into traffic. That can of string beans sitting on the shelf at the grocery store was delivered by a trucker- just for us. It's a dirty job that requires dedication and skill.
There is a well used "rest area" here utilized by truckers. It is very near the State Patrol headquarters at Geiger. Food, diesel, and truck and trailer repair work can be found nearby. Stop and stretch your legs and go find The Truckers Cache!
Non truckers are welcome too, of course, but don't block anyone in.
