Ammo box hidden in Lake Bronson State Park. Cache is about 50 yards
off of a main hiking trail. No bushwhacking or volunteer trail
making needed - use established game trail to get across the
grasslands.
This cache was named in honour of Patti's six sisters, as well as a
feature in the area (which you'll see when you find the cache -- or
decrypt the hint.)
The initial cache contents are things that recall each of the
sisters. No clues as to what is for whom :)
- Flower stickers
- First aid kit
Webster's Dictionary cd-rom
- Halloween socks
- Blank journal with pen (this is NOT the logbook!)
- Water shoes

Of historical note, this was the first cache legally placed in a
Minnesota State Park.
Much thanks to the Minnesota Geocaching Association
for working with the Minnesota DNR to open up caching in the state
parks. This is the first cache in Lake Bronson State Park, a
wonderful park that not enough people know about. We hope that our
cache can help introduce others to the beauty in this place.
Lake Bronson State Park boasts many miles of scenic hiking and
biking trails, boating and fishing, two campgrounds with modern
facilities and numerous historical points of interest. It is
located about an hour and a half north of Grand Forks, ND, and two
and a half hours south of Winnipeg, MB.
Because this is in a state park, a daily or annual permit is
required to access the cache, and the park closes at 10PM
nightly.
This cache is registered with, and was placed with the approval
of, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
