In town of Hallock, MN
Hallock is a small rural town about 20 miles south of the Canadian
border. In 1880, Charles Hallock, for whom the town was named, was
a wealthy Easterner from New York City. He was an avid outdoorsman
and his interest in hunting brought him to this area. My
grandfather, Axel Ferdinand Carlson was an immigrant from Sweden in
the early 1900,s and married Stella Anderson and raised 17
children, you can find my grandparent's graves in the cemetary near
the geocache. Take a look around Hallock, it is a nice little
town.
Cache is wheelchair accessible, but may need help reaching the
cache.
