If you said yes to any of the above, come on down to Sharon
Woods on December 27th.
Where: Lakeside Lodge at Sharon Woods, Coords at top (parking
lot)
When: 10:30 am – 5:00 pm, Thursday, December 27th
This will be an informal setting with seasoned cachers, such as
BVCY Swim, Col Mustard, GreyOne, Helter Skelter, and myself,
providing instruction and assistance throughout the day. Tables
will be set up for the different areas mentioned above. This way,
you can come at a time convenient for you, and still take home what
you wanted.
GreyOne will be bringing some soft block and various tools for
anyone interested in learning how to carve letterbox (or signature)
stamps.
There are several caches in the area that you may want to find.
If you want, we can provide a list of these caches, as well as a
GPX file of caches to upload to your unit. Make sure you bring your
data cable with you. Currently, within 6 miles of the event, there
are 247 caches, with 192 regular caches, and 55 multis and puzzles,
and 1 earthcache.
This event ends at 5:00 PM. Starting at 6:00 PM, OKIC will use
this same building for their end of year Holiday Event. They say
that you are all invited to stick around for a great evening of
food and fun. Here is the OKIC Party Event page: GC16X6T.
