Indiana & Raider - The Docks Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

An easy walk along the shared footpath / cycle path that follows most of the north Wales coast.

This cache will provide you with a Civilisation and a numerical value for that Civilisation.
By visiting and collecting the information from the other traditional caches in the series will enable you to help Indiana Jones & Fantasyraider find the Lost Key Room and then hopefully The Lost & Locked Ark!
The full list of the caches you need to visit can be found on The Lost Key Room - GC18R87.

DO NOT PARK ON THE A55 AND DO THIS CACHE. THAT WOULD JUST BE STUPID AND DANGEROUS!

Please bring your own pen to sign the log, you aint got a pen? you aint a cacher!

Mysterious goings on down at the docks - hopefully you won't see any illegal shipping taking place...

A cache has been here before but was muggled!
Hopefully Indy's research will not be lost-....ensure you hide it well and beware muggles!
This cache is situated near the jetty from which the limestone from the hills behind you is distributed and exported across Europe.

The unusual shaped concrete things are known as dolos.
There are 22,000 of them, all cast on site in the early 1980's to help reclaim land from the beach so that the A55 expressway above could be built.
The dolos are designed to withstand a once in a one hundred year storm.
Remember to note down the details!

***Congratulations to Caneou for being FTF on the 15/4/2008.***
