Geocache Description:

At the parking coordinates there is room for one small to mid-sized vehicle. After going about 100 yards on the old jeep road you will see a well defined trail cutting off to the right. You can stay on the road and reach the top of the butte.... but if you want the full thigh burning, heart pounding, hands on the knees sucking for oxygen effect that this cache is ment to give, then take the trail. Walk only as fast as you can breath as whoever blazed this trail had no concept of switchbacks or side hilling and the elevation gain is about 400 feet in a quarter mile.

Once you are rewarded with semi flat ground at the top of Beavercreek's nearest volcano, you will find the Highland Butte Reset Benchmark at the posted coordinated. The heavy tree cover had our gpsr jumping all over the place, but we found the benchmark about 30 feet from our gz. Near the benchmark you can see the remains of the old lookout and also the remains of many parties. If you can, CITO.

The cache is placed about 95 feet away at a bearing of 275 degrees. Once again, the cover made it difficult to get a good reading. I do have the coordinates and will give them out with a DNF.

As this cache is a baby brother copy of my favorite cache, Soosap Summit, there is something here for TTRIBE (your missing log from Kenny's Clone)

The cache also contains a set of unactivated TB dog tags for the FTF prize.
