Highland Butte offers a good hike for those looking to get out and enjoy the forest. Elevation is approximately 1400', so be aware of snow conditions in the winter. We highly recommend boots and a good hiking stick is never a bad thing.
We placed the cache 40'-50' off the trail, in an area that provides a nice view and a great log for taking a rest or eating your picnic lunch.
Parking is available at the coordinates listed below. Or, park at the coordinates listed for the Gasping for O's cache. We chose to take the longer, less uphill, easier on your lungs route.
