Millions of years ago, this area was covered by sea. When fish and other marine organisms died they would fall to the sea bed and form a layer. Then layers of mud, sand and soil fell on top of the layer of decomposed fish. It was then compressed for millions of years then when the sea evaporated we were left with what is now limestone. Then some of the limestone was eroded to make way for river, when some 18,000 years the Darling fault line fell 10-15 Km! Then the swan river was formed, carving away the land and causing these cliffs!
To have this as a find you need to estimate the number of metres from the base of the cliff to the top, then contact me via the Geocaching website and tell me your answer, if its right I won't reply but if its wrong I will reply in a less then two weeks. Hopefully 24 hours! I will delete logs by people who don't do the criteria. please don't put photos of the actual cliffs as people might cheat.
