Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
Cache originally contained ear plugs. Or take the "Conversational Klingon" CD, so you can tell the kids "bIjatlh 'e' yImev!"
There's also a spirograph (taken from the nearby Blue Heron cache), a pink panther golfer (my first find, 48 hunts ago, from the Over the Rainbow cache), a map of Portland (from I Hate I-5 XII - Gee Creek), and a swashbuckling fox figure (from Foxy Cache). I also stuck a baseball, a sphere puzzle, "Kasparaov's Gambit" PC game, and an AOL tin case with CD (the CD would make a good skeet target, and the tin case would make a good micro-cache).
They're all in an ammo box given to me by Dragonfli for Valentine's day. The log book was also a Valentine's Day gift.
There's a few ways that will get you close to the cache, but only one way you can actually legally get to the cache. Hit the rest area from northbound I-5. Don't try to get to it from the Wild Waves side; you'll be on the wrong side of the fence.
If you're coming from the north, well, you may just be 350 feet away, but you'll still have a few miles of backtracking to do. Enjoy Fife.
We refer to the area north of here as "Feral Way" ever since a friend of mine was filmed by SeaTac mall security getting mugged in their parking lot. The cops caught the guy a few days later. There's plenty of other examples, too, like most other towns.
Please cover the cache the way you found it, and don't get caught (a good trick, I'm sure!)
