Geocache Description:

The cache is in a clump of trees not too far from the turning circle next to the wreck of a twin-engined light aircraft. The wreck is located 6km off the Anne-Beadell Highway, but there are many sand dunes to get over first.

The aircraft itself crashed sometime around 26-28 January 1993. Two years later it was observed to be intact apart from the initial crash damage and the removal of the instrumentation. Two years after the access track was put in the two engines and landing gear had been removed. The plane is now in a bit of a sorry state having been vandalised and shot at!

The cache is in a white plastic 4.5kg mayonnaise container, without the mayonnaise, but with a keyring, a watch, a calculator, a compass and some other stuff. There's also a pad and pencil for you to sign when you get there.
