Sioux Lookout # 2 -- Off the Oslund Trail
Scott, Millie the Wonder Dog, and Kristen (the niece) and I placed this one on our recent holiday vacation.
Take 8th Avenue from Sioux Lookout Ontario, to the Horse Stables and Oslund Trail head. You can walk, bike, ride a horse,snowmobile, or ski to this one (even boat if you come from the other direction).
The dirt trail to the lake is .77 KM and can be driven if desired. At Cedar Bay, go 35 meters down along the edge of the lake on the foot path, and then 30 meters off the trail and up the hillside. You will find the cache in a Tupperware bagel container wedged into a broken rock in an open, mossy, area.
