The St Arnaud Saturday Night Event

 

Welcome to the traditional Geocaching Victoria Saturday Night Dinner event. The St Arnaud Event, 2019 will be the fifth MEGA event in as many years in the state Victoria and that makes it the longest running annual MEGA event in the southern hemisphere!

Over the years we have developed a fine tradition of putting on a darn good feed on the Saturday night of our MEGA event and this year will be no exception. Held onsite at the Mega, this event will centre around some great food (a roast beef roll with gravy), plenty of conversation, fun and games as well as the presentation of some awards and geocoins. The recognition of some milestone that people have achieved is always nice to share with everybody, and of course the announcement of the new inductees to the now highly regarded Australian Geocacher Hall of Fame will take place.

There are plenty of other details that we are working out as we go, but if you want a good feed and some great light hearted entertainment, then this event has to be one of the “must do” items on you MEGA weekend agenda.

  • The event will run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday the 16th of November, 2019
  • It is requested that you bring your own chair to this event
  • We unfortunately cannot cater for vegetarians/special dietary needs so BYO
Make sure you log your Will Attend on this event if you intend on coming and the number of people you expect to be bringing along so that we can cater adequately. Further details regarding this event will be posted as announcements in due course.
