"The closer you get to the summit, the farther you are from the idiots"
SummerCamp at Kinglake National Park
If you feel like a Saturday away from everything, join us in Melbourne's backyard and share some of your geocaching stories while celebrating whatever we overcame in the past two years* ... and 20 years of Geocaching. BYO will be the theme of the day since there is nothing to buy. Sharing on the other hand is highly encouraged.
Now while you're looking at the map, you might scratch your head and ask yourself how do you drive there. There is a simple answer to this: You don't. Vehicle access ends at the trailhead which is listed below. Yes it is a bit of a walk and I strongly recommend this event for experienced hikers only. You don't want to die out there - other people did that already. Here are the technical details:
What: Having some dinner and a couple of drinks
When: 5.3.2022 - 12:00 - 14:15
Why: Because we can
Where: In the Middle of Nowhere Kinglake Area
Please don't try to approach the event site from the North. There's no legal way to do this. You'd be trespassing.
* You might have seen this event before - it got published in 2020 however then the pandemic hit and events were put on ice. Now we're dragging it off the shelve and restart the adventure.
Adventure is out there
Cheers
The Rangers on Duty - whoever that'll be
!! WARNING !!
This event might severely injure or kill you, if you don't know what you're doing. Please avoid that. Thank you.
