Geocache Description:

Kätkö Lahdessa Lanu -veistospuistossa. A cache in the Lanu sculpture park in Lahti.

Lanu -puisto sijaitsee Kariniemessä Vesijärven rannalla. Alueella on yhteensä 12 suurta, värjätystä betonista tehtyä patsasta, jotka esittävät ihmishahmoja eri asennoissa. Patsaat ovat piilossa puiden seassa ja niiden tarkoituksena on sulautua luontoon. Pinnat muistuttavat kiveä, puun kuorta, oksia jne. ja niiden päälle kasvaa ajan myötä sammalta, jolloin ne sulautuvat luontoon vielä enemmän. Ympäröivä metsä on luonnontilainen, vihreä viidakko kesäaikaan.
Hiekkatietä pitkin pääsee lähes kätkölle. Vain pari viime metriä ovat metsässä.
Piilotathan kätkön lähtiessäsi. Camomateriaalia löytyy maastosta.

The Lanu park is situated in Kariniemi by lake Vesijärvi. There are alltogether 12 big statues made of coloured concrete, representing human figures in different postures. The statues are hidden among the trees and their meaning is to blend with the nature. The textures resemble stone, wood bark, branches etc. and they are by time gathering moss, thus blending with the nature more and more. The surrounding leafy forest is a green jungle in the summer.
You can get almost to the cache by a sandy road. Only the last meters are in the forest.


Tämä kätkö on löydettävissä myös lumisena aikana, myöskään perillepääsyä ei estäne umpihanki. This cache is snowproof, you should also be able to reach it without facing deep banks of snow.
