Geocache Description:


Snake Hill Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is a tract of land recently purchased by the State of West Virginia to protect the Coopers Rock viewshed.

As this is a managed wildlife/hunting area, please use proper precautions.

Parking is at the following coordinates on the east side of the road:
N 39 36.611
W 079 49.746

Very rough directions to the parking area are as follows:
From Interstate 68, exit at the Sabraton Exit.
Turn onto Route 7 East.
Turn left onto Tyrone Road.
Turn right onto Snake Hill Road.

From parking area, simply staying on the trail will get you to the cache.
The trail is sporadically marked leading to the site.
The trail is an easy walk except for the last 10th of a mile, which is a little steep

Cache is approximately 1 mile from the parking area and should take you about 40 minutes or so to get to the site.

Cache is now a large ammo box.
