Located on Magnetic island a 20min ferry trip from Townsville. Cache can be found on the forts walk a 2km unsealed trail to WW2 gun emplacement and command center.
Magnetic Island boasts sheltered beaches loads of walking paths and a laid back island feel. Cache can be found after a 2km walk along the Forts Track adjacent to the old signals station. Keep an eye out for koalas on the way and carry water, a hat and sun screen. Cache is a 300ml length of pale yellow water pipe.
