Gammelstilla was founded in the 1650's and stopped production of iron in 1914. Today there are a number of high class industrial remains in this idyllic spot. BeDuring July and August the forge, powerstation, mechanical workshops and the other buildings are open on Saturdays and Sundays between 13:00 and 16:00. The cache is one the dam between the two lakes that provided the mill with water power in bygone days.
Gammelstilla grundades under 1650 talet och producerade järn fram till 1914. Idag finns det många högklassiga industriella kvarlevor i detta fridfulla by. Unde juli och augusti är smedjan, kraft-stationen, mekaniska verkstaden och de övriga byggnaderna öppna lördagar och söndagar kl 13-16. Gömman ligger på dammen som finns mellan de två dammarna som var för kraftförsöjning till verket i gångna tider.

As the dam gates were repaired and the dam itself heightened the cache is somewhere under a layer of stones. A new cache has been placed in about the same location as the old one. It has camoflague colours. It contains the usual geocaching info, log book and trading items.
