Park at the Nature Center and take the trail to this cache. It is
located just off the trail. It may be covered up so make sure you
cover it up again when you are finished.
Bats – Take a look at the box hanging on the tree near by.
This is one of many resting places for bats. Bats are the only
mammal that can fly! A bat can eat 600 or more mosquitoes in an
hour. There are two common bats in middle TN – the Eastern
Pipistrelle and the Little Brown Bat. Learn more about bats at the
