Geocache Description:

This one's a long way from home, but we just need to have a cache in Thailand…so you’ve got to go searching the streets of Chiang Mai. As anyone, who has visited Thailand, knows, the streets and sois (alleys) run in every which way and direction…and sometimes to a dead end or a one-way street. As well, getting a GPS signals among the closely buildings can sometime be difficult.

However, once you find this cache, you’ll know why it’s called “No Granny.” In fact, many traveling cachers probably know what it means already.

It’s a coin cache, so we’d like to collect as many coins from around the world as possible. And while you at the cache, take a few minutes and have a friendly chit-chat with our Canadian friends, who live in Chiang Mai, and who so willingly are helping with the cache. “Cak” and Tom are a fountain of knowledge. If you can't meet Cak or Tom, please send me a e-mail explaining a defining feature of the cache site, or a pix.

In the cache you will find:

Two Canadian 25 cent pieces
Two Canadian dimes
One Canadian nickel
Two five Baht pieces
Log book

Additional Hints (Encrypt)

Additional hints: If you can find Mike’s hamburgers near old city moat, you’re getting close. In fact, after you find the cache, drop in at Mike’s for the best hamburger, cheeseburger, or double cheese you’ll find in Chiang Mai. If you’re lost, the letters GPS always help.
