Da sich dieser Cache in einer Naturschutzzone befindet darf und muss das offizielle Wegnetz nicht verlassen werden

Der "Top of the World"-Geocache befindet sich auf dem Gipfel des Piz Julier auf 3384 M.ü.M. Der Weg ist steil und felsig. Es sind einige Grate zu überqueren, bei welchen absolute Schwindelfreiheit erforderlich ist!

The "Top of the World" geocache is located on Mount Julier (=Piz Julier) on an elevation of 3384 meter. The terrain is rough and very steep; it involves walking across ridges with deep drop-offs on each side.

The GC is a tupperware box wrapped into a plastic bag. Don't bring any large items (it's anyway better to save weight when hiking up there). A good starting point is the base of the chair lift "Suvretta-Randolins". There are also enough parking lots available.
You can keep your GPS turned off until you reach the summit of Piz Julier, as there is only one way to get up there: by following the blue trail markers.
Be aware that you have to mount 1400 meters of elevation! Fitness is required. Leave early in the morning, only in good weather conditions. The trail is marked clearly and secured by chains where required. Your hands will be frequently used to keep hold of yourself!

Der "Top of the World"-Geocache ist nach dem Motto des berühmten, nahen Kurortes St.Moritz benannt. Das Motto passt auch sehr gut zu diesem GC - nach dem Aufstieg fühlt man sich wahrlich so.
Der GC selbst ist eine in einen Plastiksack eingewickelte Tupperware-Box. Bringt keine grossen Tauschsachen mit hoch (jedes eingesparte Gramm hilft sowieso bein Aufstieg). An der Talstation der Sesselbahn "Suvretta-Randolins" wäre ein guter Startpunkt. Dort sind auch genügend Parkplätze vorhanden.
Das GPS kan man eigentlich bis zum Gipfel aus lassen. Einfach den blauen Wanderweg-Markierungen folgen.
Beim Aufstieg gilt es, 1400 Höhenmeter zu überwinden! Fitness ist gefragt. Macht euch frühzeitig auf den Weg, bitte nur bei tiptoppen Wetterverhältnissen! Der Weg ist gut markiert. Die Hände werden des öfteren zum Festhalten benötigt (also die feinen Bürohändchen können durchwegs was abbekommen).
